SOFTSWISS, the international technology provider of iGaming software solutions, has revealed strong performance figures from its Anti-Fraud team for 2025, reinforcing its dedication to building a safer digital environment for operators and players alike.
From January to August 2025, the SOFTSWISS Anti-Fraud team delivered a series of impactful results:
-
Prevented fraudulent transactions worth more than €15 million
-
Closed in excess of 56,000 individual tasks
-
Processed 70 player complaints escalated to regulators and online forums
Although the majority of fraudulent activity mirrors past patterns, the company has noted a new and growing threat: the use of artificial intelligence. According to the SumSub Identity Fraud Report 2024–2025, fraudsters are increasingly relying on AI-generated deepfakes to bypass verification checks. In response, SOFTSWISS is enhancing its in-house systems and processes to stay ahead of this trend.
Ilya Nesterov, Anti-Fraud Team Lead at SOFTSWISS, commented:
“This year, our team not only safeguarded €15 million for our clients but also handled tens of thousands of cases with precision and responsibility. Fraud tactics are evolving, but so are our secure data protection practices. For operators, this means a safer, more transparent environment to build trust and long-term success.”
The Anti-Fraud function is an integral part of SOFTSWISS Managed Services, which also covers First Line Support, VIP Player Support, Player Retention and Reactivation, and Content Management. These combined services streamline operations, enhance operator–player communication, and ensure a smooth and secure player experience.
With its proven track record in fraud prevention and commitment to responsible gambling, SOFTSWISS continues to prioritise security and player protection, further strengthening its position as a trusted partner for operators in regulated markets.
Industry professionals can meet the SOFTSWISS team at stand 4016 G during the Sigma Summit Central Europe 2025, taking place from 4–6 November, to explore the company’s innovative solutions and best practices in responsible gambling.
