Amazon Web Services has named Devoteam its Consulting Partner of the Year for the United Kingdom and Ireland, with the announcement made at the AWS Partner Summit in London on April 23. The recognition comes through the 2026 Regional AWS Partner Awards programme, which singles out firms across the globe for their role in helping organisations adopt and build on AWS infrastructure.
The award specifically acknowledges Devoteam’s performance in AWS Migration and Modernisation projects over the past year, alongside its ability to deliver complex, large-scale programmes and its growing pool of AWS-certified specialists across its UK and Ireland operations. Canalys audited the underlying data used to evaluate all nominees, ensuring the selection process was grounded in objective performance metrics.
John Lacey, Managing Director of Devoteam UK, said the recognition reflects the standard of work the firm’s people are delivering on a daily basis. “This award reflects the quality and impact of the work our people do every single day, particularly in AI and cloud migration and modernisation, where we are consistently setting new standards across the UK and Ireland,” he said.

Steven Crowley, who shares the Managing Director role, was quick to direct credit toward the wider team rather than leadership. “John and I have been building together for a very long time, but this award isn’t about the two of us,” Crowley said. “It belongs to the team, the people whose expertise, grit, and commitment to our customers is what actually sets us apart.”
Devoteam, which operates across more than 25 countries in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa with a headcount of over 11,000 technology professionals, has been positioning itself aggressively around artificial intelligence in recent years. Its Amplify 2028 strategic plan targets a position where half of all company revenue comes from AI-related services, and the firm is currently retraining its entire global workforce to support that shift.
The UK and Ireland award adds to a strong run of partner recognition for Devoteam in 2026. The firm has separately been named Google Cloud Diamond Partner, awarded JumpCloud’s EMEA Partner of the Year, and claimed the ServiceNow IT Partner of the Year for EMEA for the fourth consecutive year. The company has held AWS Premier Tier status since 2012 and entered a multi-year Strategic Collaboration Agreement with AWS in late 2024 focused on accelerating generative AI adoption among its customers.
With the remainder of 2026 in view, the firm says it will continue pushing into deeper AI adoption, data analytics, and migration and modernisation work across its UK customer base.
