Amazon (NASDAQ: AMZN) Hits All-Time High As Analysts Point To It As A Top Stock Pick

Amazon (NASDAQ: AMZN) has reached an all-time high this week, yet analysts argue the stock remains reasonably valued for investors looking to put $1,000 to work.

The company is trading at roughly 26 times next year’s projected earnings, a figure that many consider modest given the breadth of Amazon’s competitive advantages.

Net sales rose 20% in Amazon’s latest quarter, marking the strongest top-line growth the company has posted since the spring of 2021.

That kind of revenue acceleration is rare for a business of Amazon’s scale, and it signals that multiple segments are firing simultaneously rather than relying on a single driver.

Amazon Web Services, the company’s high-margin cloud hosting division, grew 37% in the most recent quarter and generated more than half of Amazon’s total operating profit.

The e-commerce operation that made Amazon a household name is also picking up speed, with North American revenue climbing 16% and international revenue rising 15%.

Amazon has used its enormous scale to build out last-mile logistics infrastructure that gives it a structural cost advantage over rivals who rely heavily on third-party fulfillment networks.

Despite a nine-figure budget commitment this year aimed at strengthening its artificial intelligence capabilities, Amazon continues to deliver strong results on the bottom line.

The company’s forward earnings multiple in the mid-20s looks reasonable for a business that competes aggressively across cloud computing, e-commerce, advertising, and AI infrastructure.

Finding a stock that offers growth, profitability, a protective moat, and a fair valuation all at once is rarely straightforward, but Amazon appears to check each of those boxes heading into the second half of 2026.

Investors who missed earlier entry points may still find the current valuation compelling given the company’s sustained momentum across its most important business units.

With AWS continuing to dominate cloud infrastructure and the retail segment regaining momentum, Amazon’s multi-layered business model positions it to perform across a wide range of economic conditions.
