Stellantis (STLA) Names Arnaud Belloni CEO Of FIAT, Abarth And Lancia Brands

Stellantis N.V. (STLA) has appointed Arnaud Belloni as CEO of the FIAT, Abarth, and Lancia brands, along with the role of Chief Marketing Officer for Europe.

The announcement was made on Monday, marking a significant leadership shift across three of Stellantis’s most prominent European automotive brands.

Belloni steps into the role as successor to Olivier François, a well-known figure who has long been associated with the FIAT brand’s global identity.

François will not be departing the company entirely, however, and will continue to serve Stellantis in a strategic advisory capacity.

The appointment represents a homecoming of sorts for Belloni, who has deep roots within the Stellantis organization from an earlier chapter of his career.

He previously spent 16 years at Stellantis, where he led marketing strategy for the company’s Italian and French brands across international markets.

Most recently, Belloni held the position of chief branding officer at Renault Group, overseeing the brand direction for all of Renault’s vehicle lines.

His return brings a wealth of experience across both Stellantis and a major competitor, giving the company a leader with a broad perspective on European automotive branding.

The move signals that Stellantis is doubling down on marketing-led leadership for brands that have historically relied on strong cultural identity and design heritage to drive consumer loyalty.

FIAT, Abarth, and Lancia each occupy distinct positions within the European market, and unifying their executive leadership under one figure could sharpen strategic focus across all three.

Investors appeared to react positively to the news, with STLA shares trading at $5.44 in pre-market activity on the NYSE, representing a gain of 0.46 percent.

The leadership change arrives at a pivotal moment for Stellantis as it continues to navigate a competitive and rapidly evolving European automotive landscape, particularly around electrification.

Belloni’s combined role across brand leadership and regional marketing suggests Stellantis is looking to align product positioning and commercial strategy more tightly than before.
