The CFO chair at Raffles Medical Group has proven difficult to keep filled, with the healthcare company now navigating its third finance leadership change in just over a year.
Woo Yeng Yeng, who took on the Chief Financial Officer role only in October 2025, is departing to pursue personal interests, leaving the group searching for a permanent replacement once again.
Group Financial Controller Mrs. Kimmy Goh will shoulder CFO responsibilities on an interim basis while Raffles Medical conducts its search for a new finance chief.
The disruption echoes a pattern that only recently appeared resolved, as the CFO position sat vacant for ten months following the November 2024 departure of Woo’s predecessor, Sheila Ng.
Ng had also cited personal interests when she left effective 12 November 2024, triggering a prolonged recruitment process before Woo was eventually named to the position.
Woo brought considerable credentials to the role, having accumulated more than two decades of experience spanning real estate, hospitality, and capital markets before joining Raffles Medical.
Her most recent position before the group was CFO and Head of Investor Relations at PARAGON REIT, where she managed finance operations, corporate governance, and strategic planning.
Prior to that, she served as Head of Finance at CapitaLand Investment (International), overseeing financial operations across markets including Australia, Japan, South Korea, Europe, and the United States.
Her academic background includes a Bachelor of Accountancy from Nanyang Technological University and a Master of Commerce in International Business from the University of New South Wales, and she holds Chartered Accountant status with the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants.
Executive Chairman Dr Loo Choon Yong had spoken warmly of Woo’s appointment, saying, “We are delighted to welcome Ms Woo to Raffles as we approach our 50th anniversary next year. Her proven track record and breadth of international experience will contribute positively to the group’s sustainable growth in the years ahead.”
Those expectations now go unfulfilled, and the group must once again assess candidates capable of steering its finances through an ambitious growth phase.
Raffles Medical has not disclosed a timeline for completing the search, leaving Mrs. Goh to manage the interim responsibilities with no confirmed end date in sight.
