SOFTSWISS Deputy CTO Sergey Kastukevich Named EMEA CTO of the Year at Oracle Excellence Awards

SOFTSWISS, a global technology company and leading provider of software solutions for the iGaming industry, is proud to announce that its Deputy Chief Technology Officer, Sergey Kastukevich, has been named CTO of the Year in the EMEA region at the 2025 Oracle Excellence Awards.

Organised by Oracle – the world’s second-largest software developer after Microsoft and the fourth-largest IT company globally – the Oracle Excellence Awards celebrate outstanding achievements in business innovation.

The accolade recognises Kastukevich as a CTO who strategically applies emerging technologies to drive SOFTSWISS’ ambitions forward. His leadership has contributed to lowering operational costs, improving system stability, and launching transformative products that serve both the company and the wider iGaming sector. With more than 15 years of experience, SOFTSWISS delivers secure, scalable, high-performance platforms that power over 1,200 brands across the globe.

Previous recipients of the award include major international firms such as Vodafone, Shiseido Company Limited, and PayPal (NA).

Sergey Kastukevich commented on receiving the award:

“We take pride in our successful collaboration with Oracle OCI, which allows us to implement innovative projects with high reliability and security.

SOFTSWISS leverages a comprehensive suite of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services to ensure performance, scalability, and security across its operations.”

Among these services is Oracle Kubernetes Engine (OKE), which provides the scalability and flexibility required for deploying containerised applications. To handle mission-critical workloads, SOFTSWISS utilises high-performance VM Instances, delivering the computing power needed for demanding tasks.

For secure and scalable data management, SOFTSWISS relies on Oracle’s Object Storage, ensuring fast access and dependable storage for vital information. The company also uses Cloud Guard to provide real-time monitoring and automated threat responses, maintaining a high level of security across its cloud infrastructure.

Additionally, a centralised Container Image Hub simplifies the lifecycle management of containerised applications, while Identity and Access Management (IAM) enforces strict access controls to ensure strong security measures are maintained at every level.

“Thanks to these tools, our collaboration with Oracle OCI allows us to build highly available and scalable solutions that meet the highest security and efficiency standards. We are confident that the joint use of cloud technologies fosters the development of innovative projects and the optimisation of our clients’ business processes,”
added S. Kastukevich.

Sergey joined SOFTSWISS as Deputy CTO in 2020 and has played a crucial role in scaling the technology team, refining internal processes, and shaping the company’s long-term tech vision. His focus spans not only solving complex engineering challenges but also nurturing talent, building robust systems, and empowering individuals to thrive.

Being recognised in such a prestigious award programme within a region where SOFTSWISS operates is a significant milestone and a testament to the company’s leadership in the tech space.

The SOFTSWISS team will be attending SiGMA Americas in São Paulo, Brazil, from 7–10 April, where they will be available to discuss their latest technology solutions tailored for the iGaming industry.
