Aposta Ganha Announced as Headline Sponsor for ESPN Bola de Prata Award

Aposta Ganha, the fastest-growing sports betting and casino site in Brazil, is set to sponsor the nation’s premier annual celebration of Brazilian football. Established in 1970, this award honors the best footballers and coaches in Serie A of the Brazilian Championship.

Now in its 55th edition, the esteemed award ceremony will proudly feature Aposta Ganha’s name, initiating a forward-looking partnership with ESPN, one of the largest television networks globally, co-owned by The Walt Disney Company and Hearst Corporation.

The rigorous evaluation criteria and the recognition from clubs, athletes, and the public for this award align seamlessly with Aposta Ganha’s business philosophy.

ESPN experts will monitor all 20 teams in Serie A of the Brazilian Football Championship, rating players round by round. At the end of the season, these ratings will account for 60% of the final score, while the remaining 40% will come from the “DataESPN Algorithm,” developed by the channel’s tactical and statistical performance analysis core, which examines over 80 performance metrics for each player.

After the final round, the players with the highest averages in each category will be awarded. The player with the highest overall average will be named the best player in the championship and receive the ESPN Golden Ball Aposta Ganha. The top scorer will be awarded the ESPN Silver Ball Top Scorer Win Bet. The best young player will receive the Newcomer Award, and the best coach will be honored with the Telê Santana Trophy.

Hugo Baungartner, Aposta Ganha’s CCO, stated:

“Collaborating with a brand as influential as ESPN on a project respected and recognized by athletes, the press, and the public solidifies Aposta Ganha as one of the leading companies globally. Our partnership underscores our unwavering commitment to providing responsible and high-quality entertainment, while also promoting and supporting the nation’s most beloved sport.”
