SOFTSWISS, a leading software development company in the iGaming sector, unveiled its innovative portfolio at ICE Barcelona 2025, marking the event’s first-ever appearance in Barcelona.
The relocation of ICE, the largest trade fair in the iGaming industry, from London to Barcelona represents a significant milestone. This move comes as Spain is recognized by the IMF as the ‘best-performing economy’ globally by the end of 2024. With Spain’s Gross Gaming Revenue (GGR) hitting €1.24 billion in 2023, this decision highlights the country’s growing influence in the iGaming sector.
As a global iGaming leader, SOFTSWISS showcased its state-of-the-art software solutions, with a key highlight being its Game Aggregator. This game hub is the largest in the market, offering over 27,800 games from 280+ providers. The Game Aggregator is fully certified in both security and technical compliance, meeting the regulatory requirements of new markets like Peru and Brazil, as well as established European markets like Spain. This ensures seamless integration for operators while adhering to local regulations.
“We are thrilled to be part of ICE 2025, especially in this historic edition in Barcelona. The relocation of ICE from London to Barcelona underscores the maturity of Spain’s iGaming industry. This move not only cements the city’s status as a major hub for iGaming but is also poised to positively impact the local economy through increased tourism, business opportunities, and industry innovation,” said Valentina Bagniya, Chief Marketing Officer at SOFTSWISS. She also noted that Barcelona is becoming a tech hub, blending high-quality standards with global visibility.
SOFTSWISS also launched its new marketing campaign with a live performance by Slim Safont, the renowned local artist with iconic works in Los Angeles, Italy, and New York.
On the opening day, the company surprised attendees by unveiling its new marketing campaign, ‘Hungry for Success? Dive in with SOFTSWISS’. This concept was brought to life with a striking shark image symbolizing strength, leadership, and technological superiority. Visitors had the chance to explore the campaign at the SOFTSWISS booth and engage with Slim Safont’s live performance, co-creating the image of the technological shark right at the venue.
“These types of visual activations allow brands to connect with their audience, and in this case, thanks to the participation of the fair’s attendees, we succeeded in creating a more engaging and memorable experience,” said Slim Safont.
In addition to product updates, SOFTSWISS highlighted its commitment to exploring new markets. Max Trafimovich, Chief Commercial Officer at SOFTSWISS, led a masterclass on opportunities in the UAE, sharing insights on market entry strategies and regulatory frameworks.
