This February, international tech company SOFTSWISS has launched Better Together Month, an initiative designed to enhance corporate culture and team spirit. Throughout the month, employees engage in a variety of activities that foster collaboration, appreciation, and informal networking. The initiative blends interactive challenges, social meetups, and cultural experiences that celebrate diversity and inclusion.
Better Together Month is a long-term investment in building a strong, connected work environment. With SOFTSWISS expanding across multiple development centres, team cohesion remains a key focus. Over the past year, the company has seen a 21% increase in specialists working on its products, making internal communication and collaboration more important than ever.
The initiative kicked off with the Active Together Challenge, encouraging employees to share their favourite physical activities on social media and invite colleagues to join in. To facilitate networking in a hybrid work setup, the Donut Boton Slack arranges random virtual meetups, helping colleagues connect informally.
Valentina Bagniya, CMO at SOFTSWISS, highlights the importance of the initiative:
“At SOFTSWISS, we understand that our success is built upon the dedication and collaboration of over 2,000 employees across all locations. Better Together Month is our way of recognising this unity, fostering an environment where everyone feels valued and connected. By creating initiatives that go beyond traditional corporate celebrations, we reinforce our commitment to a people-first culture.”
Midway through the month, Friendship & Gratitude Day brought teams together for a celebration focused on appreciation and connection. Gratitude Canvases were placed in key office locations, allowing colleagues to share messages of encouragement and thanks.
The month concludes with Treat Thursday, a celebration of local traditions across different regions. In Poland, employees mark T?usty Czwartek (Fat Thursday) by sharing sweet treats and strengthening team bonds, while in Georgia, teams embrace their cultural heritage by celebrating Maslenitsa.
By honouring these traditions, SOFTSWISS and its local partners reinforce their commitment to an inclusive and culturally aware workplace, where shared customs help unite teams across global locations.
To learn more about SOFTSWISS’ core values and workplace culture, meet the team at the SBC Summit Rio from 25–27 February.
