South African iGaming start-up InsaGames has today officially launched its global operations, bringing to market a fresh, mobile-first portfolio designed specifically for the demands of emerging regions. Specialising in the development and distribution of data-efficient gaming content, InsaGames aims to create genuine value for both operators and players in markets where infrastructure and connectivity remain key challenges.
With a strategic focus on Africa, Latin America, Asia and the Middle East, the Johannesburg-headquartered company has developed an ultra-lite game portfolio optimised for players with limited access to data or high-spec devices. By offering titles that are up to three times lighter than industry averages, InsaGames is enabling wider access to premium gameplay without sacrificing experience or performance.
“In many emerging regions, the typical iGaming content simply doesn’t suit the infrastructure or devices that players rely on,” said Sanele Mopai, Head of Online at InsaGames.
“Our products are mobile-first, ultra-lite, and fully optimised for players in markets where bandwidth and device limitations are a daily reality. We saw a clear gap in the market for games designed around the specific realities of emerging regions. We’ve already seen 40% month-on-month growth in turnover across our live markets — a clear demonstration of the significant value we’re delivering to our partners.”
InsaGames’ launch offering includes a portfolio of 13 ultra-lite Instant Games, spanning genres such as crash, casino, slots, sports, casual, and number-based formats. The release follows a successful soft launch and phased rollout with leading operators across 23 countries in Central and West Africa, as well as the Caribbean.
A recent partnership with OdiBets in Kenya marks InsaGames’ official expansion into East Africa, with further launches already in motion across Ethiopia, Tanzania, Uganda, eSwatini, Mozambique, and Lesotho.
Benedict Murithi, Head of Marketing at OdiBets, commented on the collaboration:
“What impressed us most was the diversity of InsaGames’ portfolio and the intuitive, lightweight gameplay. Our priority is delivering seamless, high-quality entertainment to our players — and InsaGames has achieved exactly that.”
Looking ahead, the company is preparing to release additional titles in the coming month, alongside the rollout of new integrated promotional tools. These include jackpots, free spins, and cash drops — all designed to incentivise players while remaining fully compatible with InsaGames’ data-lite environment.
Crucially, InsaGames sets itself apart by taking a ground-up approach to localisation. Rather than repurposing existing titles for new markets, the company develops bespoke content through its in-house studio — enabling partners to co-create games that reflect local cultures, languages, and player preferences.
“Our localisation-first approach, backed by a skilled and experienced team, positions InsaGames as the partner of choice for operators looking to unlock new opportunities and drive growth in high-potential, underdeveloped markets,” Mopai added.
By transforming regional challenges into commercial opportunities, InsaGames is helping operators across emerging markets deliver mobile-first gaming experiences that resonate — and retain.
