SOFTSWISS Supports Cyprus Wildfire Relief Through TechIsland Initiative

As Cyprus faces the devastating impact of recent wildfires, global iGaming software provider SOFTSWISS has stepped up to support affected communities by joining the TechIsland fundraising initiative. The company’s contribution aims to deliver immediate aid and assist with long-term recovery efforts.

A committed member of Cyprus’s tech ecosystem, SOFTSWISS is working alongside other businesses in the TechIsland community — a collective of local IT and innovation companies — to provide both emergency assistance and critical infrastructure support.

SOFTSWISS has made a financial donation that will be allocated to three key areas:

  1. Enhancing wildfire prevention and fire protection infrastructure
  2. Installing early warning systems to help mitigate future risks
  3. Offering urgent support to families directly impacted by the fires

This latest action reflects SOFTSWISS’s ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility. The company has a history of responding to natural disasters in regions where its staff, partners, and clients are based. In 2023, SOFTSWISS launched the HELP Brazil campaign in response to severe flooding, and also supported a charitable initiative in Poland under similar circumstances.

From Latin America to Europe — and now in Cyprus — SOFTSWISS continues to demonstrate its dedication to being more than a tech leader, but a responsible and compassionate global company.

Ivan Montik, Founder of SOFTSWISS, said:

“Supporting the country that hosts our employees and partners is not just a responsibility – it is a moral commitment. We have been closely monitoring the situation with deep concern and wanted to provide tangible aid to the fire-stricken areas, beyond words of solidarity. We are proud to be part of the TechIsland initiative and remain open to offering further support wherever it is needed.”

Through this contribution, SOFTSWISS hopes to encourage other businesses in the tech industry and beyond to respond swiftly and decisively during times of crisis. Supporting the communities where we live and work is not just a duty — it’s central to who we are.
