Mowi ASA (MOWI.OL) Posts Record Quarterly Harvest As Q3 Operational EBIT More Than Doubles

Mowi ASA (MOWI.OL) delivered a sharp jump in profitability during the third quarter, with Group operational EBIT climbing to 275 million euros from 112 million euros in the same period a year earlier.

The result marks a significant year-on-year improvement for the Oslo-listed salmon farming giant, reflecting stronger volumes and improved market conditions across its core operations.

Harvest volumes reached 186 thousand tonnes for the quarter, up from 166 thousand tonnes recorded in the prior year period, representing meaningful growth in output.

Mowi confirmed the quarterly harvest volumes represent an all-time high for any single quarter in the company’s history, a milestone that underscores its expanding production capacity.

Operational EBIT in the Consumer Products segment contributed 45 million euros to the Group’s overall result during the three-month period.

The Feed segment also performed well, generating operational EBITDA of 34 million euros for the quarter, adding further support to the Group’s financial position.

Shares in Mowi ASA were trading at 206.00 Norwegian Kroner at the last close on the Oslo Exchange, reflecting investor attention around the company’s operational momentum.

The salmon farming sector has faced a complex mix of cost pressures, regulatory scrutiny, and fluctuating spot prices in recent years, making a result of this scale particularly notable.

Mowi is one of the world’s largest producers of Atlantic salmon, operating farming, processing, and consumer product divisions across multiple regions globally.

The company has scheduled the release of its complete third quarter financial report for 4 November, when full details across all business segments are expected to be disclosed.

Investors and analysts will be closely watching that report for further clarity on margins, regional performance, and any updated guidance from management on the quarters ahead.
