Wall Street Names Meta Platforms (META) The Top Trillion-Dollar Stock To Buy Now

Meta Platforms (NASDAQ: META) has earned the top spot among trillion-dollar stocks, according to Wall Street analysts tracking the company’s aggressive artificial intelligence strategy.

The stock carries a median price target of $880 per share, representing approximately 22% upside from its current trading price, outperforming every other stock with a market capitalisation of $1 trillion or more.

Analysts have grown increasingly bullish on Meta as the company continues to pour capital into AI infrastructure at a pace few technology companies can match.

Management expects to spend roughly $67 billion on capital expenditures this year, with the majority of that funding directed toward building and equipping AI data centers across its global network.

Unlike the three major cloud computing giants, Meta does not rent out its compute capacity to external customers, meaning every dollar spent on infrastructure serves its own AI training and operational needs.

That focused approach gives Meta a degree of control over its AI development pipeline that hyperscalers who lease compute to third parties simply do not have, and investors are taking note.

Meta estimates the useful life of its non-AI and AI servers to average 5.5 years, a figure that underpins how the company calculates its depreciation expenses over time.

However, if those servers need to be replaced ahead of schedule, the company could face a significant spike in costs as it adjusts its accounting assumptions and accelerates chip purchases.

Meta is also reportedly paying hundreds of millions of dollars to attract and retain top AI talent, adding another layer of upward pressure to its overall cost structure heading into the next fiscal period.

Management has already forecast a sharp uptick in operating expenses for the coming year, though strong revenue growth is widely expected to more than offset those rising costs and support continued earnings-per-share expansion.

The combination of dominant social media platforms, a rapidly maturing AI product suite, and a disciplined focus on internal compute development gives Meta a competitive profile that Wall Street finds difficult to ignore at current valuations.

With a median analyst price target sitting well above the current share price, META remains one of the more compelling large-cap technology opportunities available to investors in 2026.
